Glee‘s back! After winning at sectionals the Glee gang think power and popularity are theirs for the taking, until a slushie facial puts pay to that and work can begin on getting ready for regionals. It’s a new beginning for the club and they are going to focus on songs with ‘hello’ in them. After his break-up with Quinn, Finn has started to date Rachel, but is still unable to fully come to terms with everything that has happened....
“She was grabbed by the child snatchers and now she’s getting attacked by assassins at Wayne freakin’ Manor?” If it wasn’t apparent enough from the previous nine episodes, what Gotham is doing is taking an iconic story and reducing it to a series of ridiculous coincidences in the interest of making connections that need not be there in the first place. They have yet to demonstrate a reason why Selina Kyle needs to be a major part of this show, let alone indicate why her history with Bruce Wayne should begin a decade before either of them had a costume....
Gotham Season 3, Episode 20 Whatever faults Gotham may have, you can never accuse it of not taking chances. In the course of an hour: Jim Gordon took the Tetch virus; Bruce Wayne turned against Gotham; Fish Mooney came back just as Ed was about to kill Oswald; and the Tetch virus was unleashed on the city. Jim Gordon takes the virus. The end of Season 3 has seen all of Gotham’s most moral characters turn evil in some way....
Of course there’s a lot of travel and it can be tiring, but how any comedian could complain about the fact that people want to pay to see you do something you love is beyond me. This answer will make my support act for the tour – Ed Gamble – roll his eyes as he knows that I am such a moany twat. I stand by the principle of the answer though....
1.9 Trou Normand This week, we see a second instance of something I sincerely hope is not going to be a trend: the casting of great and iconic actors who are given too little to do or are held in restraint. A couple of weeks ago we saw Eddie Izzard wasted as a Hannibal stand-in in Entrée, none of the actor’s trademark talents harnessed for a role that he should have been particularly good in....
After all, despite the unknown quality of its former MMA fighter turned actress, Gina Carano, Haywire looked like a straight to video action gem, only with an elite cast and the artistic eye of director Steven Soderbergh. All of which I assumed would make for a near perfect action flick. This, however, is not the case. The film left me utterly confused with its apparent lack of any structure; it seems as if Soderbergh doesn’t really understand the genre at all, and if he does, then it feels as if he’s looking down on it, which is even worse....
Religious men arrive on horseback under the cover of dark, carrying torches, in an unknown Kansas city during American Slavery. A Christian hymn underscores what one might anticipate will not be a social call at the home of the slave-owners. The light, sweetness of the voices float above the galloping hooves while transfixed slaves stare, mouth agape, uncertain of what to make of the unfolding scene. A terrified young white girl peers from beneath a blanket in a nearby wagon, her face frozen in fear....
One thing I did guess right though, was that Mr Bennet isn’t as nasty as he first appeared. After the bug-eyed alien-looking girl Eden turned up at Isaac’s place, she didn’t hurt him in any way. It’s Sylar who does that, and he’s also the guy that Mr Bennet’s after. However, despite his concern for his daughter, it’s clear he’s still a little morally bankrupt. When Isaac refuses to take any more heroin, Bennet orders Eden to make him do it....
Unlike the HBO movie, which depicted the artist almost only as a lecherous sadist torturing actress Tippi Hedren, Gervasi’s picture chooses to cast Hitchcock’s talent and idiosyncrasies in a humorous and broadly entertaining light. The film still touches on the director’s fascination with blonde leading ladies, but the movie remains more of a lighthearted character study of how his mind worked and its impact on his long overlooked wife, Alma Reville....

While there are some genuinely good episodes, with Joe Dante‘s and Stuart Gordon’s episode standing out as prime examples, the producers of the show haven’t, when you look at it got many real ‘masters’ involved, with the likes of Tobe Hooper, Clive Barker and Sam Raimi sadly missed out. However there is one name overlooked who, through his long and vaunted career, has produced some of the most terrifying films ever put on to screen....
This ending will also no doubt result in some delicious moral quandaries for Liv. Did she make the right decision in not shooting Blaine herself? Liv wouldn’t be Liv if she didn’t value human life. This is what sets her apart from Blaine. This is what makes her human, even if she is a zombie. However, if Liv had taken out Blaine, then Lowell and no doubt countless others (including at least one astronaut) would be safe from his machinations....

According to Deadline, Kevin Hart has boarded Universal Pictures’ reboot film of The Great Outdoors, a project that will look to maintain the rustic rampages of the original film – scripted by the late, great John Hughes – with its fumbling foibles and comedic interpersonal conflicts between bumbling family patriarchs set in a nature getaway. The film’s would-be star Kevin Hart is also onboard in the capacity of a producer through his Hartbeat Productions company, joined by Michael De Luca is producing of Michael De Luca Productions....
The same goes for cafe owners and their supernatural intuition that a lone child drinking a glass of tap water isn’t about to be joined by a table of high rollers who’ll order their weight in bacon butties no matter how convincingly she implies their imminent arrival by theatrically tutting and checking her fictional watch. So it was with absolute apprehension that I approached Machete Kills, as from the outside it looked to be the same one joke premise, this time substituting one iconic, novelty star for another, so instead of an eighties action legend, now relegated to DTV hell, in Steven Seagal, there was Mel Gibson and instead of quirky pop strumpet Lindsay Lohan, there was Lady Gaga. Yet I couldn’t have been more wrong....
