There were wrestling fans who groaned when WWE put him alongside Dolph Ziggler in a tag team on Monday Night Raw. I see the point. Ziggler has toiled in the upper-midcard for years, without breaking into the main-event picture and there are plenty of people who thought he deserved a spot on top. Those same people, at least the vocal ones, think the same of Drew McIntyre, and pairing Ziggler and McIntyre together could have slid McIntyre into the same tier on the WWE roster....

Then there are two other siblings, younger brother Felix (Nicholas Tucci) and younger sister Aimee (Amy Seimetz), plus their respective other halves, the most prominent and sympathetic being Crispian’s younger girlfriend Erin (Sharni Vinson)....

Coming back from a lengthy hiatus, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell’s new season is looking to be its most memorable yet. We had the privilege of talking with Matt Servitto, the show’s’ resident ruler of Hades, regarding the evolution of the series, exploring Hell’s mythos in pop culture, and what makes Satan tick. Matt Servitto: (laughs) Please, put down that I laughed. Any different messages? I think the message is in the title: You’re going to hell!...

Joking aside, the episode did pry open an interesting can of worms. Tonight’s story was full of human beings whose essential goodness had been destroyed by dealing with the Zombie virus. Kids helping their parents murder and plunder, a power-crazed dying General, mad-men wielding zombies as weapons — who are the real monsters? It’s an obvious question, but an important one to take on, and it seems like the show is game for that....

I geeked out. My friends were quickly subjected to my strong yet rambling opinions; fortunately, they’re used to this. Besides, everyone likes zombies. They’re all scary, with their unpleasant dining habits and decomposition, and all funny, with their unpleasant dining habits and decomposition. Zombies: nature’s multi-purpose narrative device. I like zombies quite a bit. I’m also a bit more flexible than some about what I consider a zombie. This article is an effort to explain why, hopefully in a more cohesive fashion than I managed before....

The final issue, ElfQuest: The Final Quest #24 publishes on February 28, 2018, the same day as the original ElfQuest debuted in 1978. Agent Carter season 2 episode 10 Well, if Marvel’s Agent Carter is going out it certainly is going out with a bang. This week’s season finale provides a nice catharsis that gives a strong hint at the future of Peggy Carter but also leaves a big fat pulsating lingering question over the fate of one of the main characters. But onward and upward as the war between Phil Coulson and Gideon Malick begins in earnest. Of course, when we last left Agents of SHIELD, Malick made things very personal by ordering the death of Rosalind Price, and now Coulson is out for blood. This is a very different Phil Coulson than we have experienced before, a very driven and sure of himself Phil Coulson, and even though he has to come to terms with the tragedy that just gutted him, this Phil is not the second guessing, wishy-washy Coulson from seasons past....

And speaking of “measuring up” (see what I did there?), the now-obligatory opening bit of comedy involving Kennix and Dorian involved what I believe is our first official set of sci-fi dick jokes of the season. You see, these first few minutes also played a little bit on an exchange from an earlier episode, where Dorian took John to task for his lateness. So when Dorian is late to report (he’s down in the, ummmm…robot shower), Kennix gets concerned and goes to look for him....

Bill and Gary’s Excellent Adventure As the title hints, this story was designed to expand the character profiles of Bill and Gary, and that’s what it manages to do. Although we actually learn more about Bill than Gary, if truth be told. The story revolves around an abducted girl, who only Gary can find before she’s disposed of by her kidnappers. Most of the show is taken up with this chase, which due to the curiously amusing relationship between Gary and Bill, is actually rather watchable....

American Dad! Season 13 Episode 3 “Yeah, I think that’s the lesson I learned. The most important thing in life is stuff.” The larger plot of the episode sees Roger in need of validation after his model persona, Tasha, turns 28 and is no longer a desirable talent. To help remedy this, Haley takes Roger to her meditation center to find some solace, with matters very quickly getting out of hand....

Arrested Development Season 5 Episode 5 If season 4 had you feeling like the child of divorced parents, then you’ll be happy to see that the Bluths are back together and in full swing in “Sinking Feelings.” This one where Michael stays has a little stimmy for everyone, especially if you love to see the Bluths being… well the Bluths. “Sinking Ships” brings back some familiar faces. Imprisoned While looking for food in the forest, the gang come across a mysterious young man, Haru, while he Earthbends. When Katara approaches him, he decides to run, leading our heroes to his village (and food!), where it turns out that the Fire Nation have set up shop for the time being. Earthbending is illegal. The village’s coal mines are being exploited. Bribing the Fire Nation is the only way to get by....

Speculation has been rampant about which of the many heroes who appear in the film might exit stage left, due either to the presumed mechanics of the plot (for example, most people assume that the Mind Stone in his head means Vision is a goner) or the real-life fact that the actor is done with his or her contract (Chris Evans has said he’s finished playing Captain America). We even know of at least one office pool based on what the body count might be....

3.3. A Fixer Of Sorts After two episodes of predominantly setting up future storylines, Banshee threw away any sense of restraint this week for an hour of the kind of all-out carnage and mayhem that only this show could deliver. Starting with the jaw-dropping opening minutes – which I’ll get to in a moment – A Fixer Of Sorts rarely let up, both escalating ongoing conflicts and paying off long standing ones with no shortage of bloodshed....

3.10 Unconscious It’s lucky that Bates Motel has such a strong and likable cast. It has struck me week after week this season just how valuable supporting players like Dylan and Emma are; their plots may have very little to do with anything else, but seeing them finally kiss after a season of waiting was enough to put a giant grin on my face. Olivia Cooke is such an effortlessly charming and likable actress that even though it’s been a long time since she felt central to anything on the show it’s a pleasure just to have her turn up, and the fact that she actually managed to get a couple of smiles out of Dylan this year was cause for celebration in and of itself....

It’s actually a question I’ve been pondering myself lately – with the impending release of The Hunger Games, the question of how we would react if placed in the Arena has become a popular one amongst my friends. Aidan tells Sally in this episode that every monster has a line of how much violence they can bear; having thoroughly debated this topic lately, I would have to extend that to regular people, too....
