According to reports released so far, 18-yeard old Heitmann was driving his McLaren sports car at over 100 MPH down the wrong side of a San Diego freeway. His car eventually collided with an SUV, which seems to have triggered a multi-car collision that may have involved up to six additional vehicles. The force of the initial impact caused Heitmann’s vehicle and the SUV he hit to burst into flames....

We kick things off as Da Vinci arrives in the New World with Vespucci and Zoroaster discovering the wreck of Riario’s ship from last episode. Hey, history class never told me Da Vinci came to the Americas…what a gyp! Da Vinci immediately notices the differences between Europe and this brave new continent. The first difference you’ll notice is the production values for the South American scenes. Good for Starz, making with the green to make the show look even more impressive....

Obviously, this was in reaction to the recent disturbing and tragic events in Charlottesville, Virginia, in which literal, actual Nazis took to the streets, killed a woman (32-year old Heather Heyer), and injured at least 15 other counterprotestors. Harmon proceeds to go on an impassioned six-minute rant about how it should be easy to say you’re not a Nazi, but apparently it’s difficult for the President of the United States, who Dan labels a “compulsively dishonest parasite” who has, de facto, “decreed that he is a Nazi....

So, Dexter knows who the Ice Truck Killer is. He’s got DNA evidence, too. (Which you’d think he should maybe tell someone about?) Doakes and Laguerta know who the Ice Truck Killer is, too, and finally so does Deb, the silly cow. All of this is dealt with pretty quickly, which is a relief. For some reason, a new lieutenant has been hired to start work in the middle of the Ice Truck Killer case, right when an officer has been kidnapped and is probably being murdered right this minute....

Yes, you can tell by the crown, right?” Groening said, making sure everyone at the table was in view of his signature illustration style. Bean, voiced by Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson, is far from a Cinderella. The daughter of a grumpy, controlling King, Bean refuses to revert to the traditional type....

Of course all of that has led to “The Day Of The Doctor,” the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special. For 50 years we’ve dreamed that the TARDIS would land in our yards and that the Doctor would whisk us away to an adventure in the universe. We are rewarded with an incredible 50th Anniversary Special. There are spoilers ahead, so beware! After a joyous reunion between the Doctor and Clara, the TARDIS is picked up by UNIT....

7.2 Dinosaurs On A Spaceship Pretty good fun, that. Dinosaurs On A Spaceship might not have matched the standard set last week by Asylum Of The Daleks, but it still managed – for the most part – a good, 45 minute mini-blockbuster, as had been promised. It’s also an episode that feels a little more targeted at the younger members of the audience in parts, albeit not to the exclusion of everyone else (although there’s perhaps less for hardened Who fans), although its lighter tone was punctuated by one or two things we’ll talk about shortly....

Bad cat woman The Eaters Of Light was written by Rona Munro, an award-winning Scottish writer responsible for films including Aimee & Jaguar and Oranges And Sunshine, as well as a multitude of theatre works. However, you’re presumably here to read about Doctor Who, and in the Doctor Who world Rona Munro is best known for killing off the classic series…. …perhaps I should rephrase that. Rona Munro wrote the 1989 adventure Survival which, thanks to falling ratings and at best an indifference towards the series from many corners of the BBC, ended up being the final story to be aired before the show went on its 16-year ‘hiatus’....

I’ve been a fan for years and it’s as good as it ever was. There’s been a focus on character rather than concept this series, was this a conscious decision? However, the repeats on Dave were really popular and they wanted to do something for the twentieth anniversary. Originally it was going to be the guys in costume introducing episodes but it grew from there. We wound up with something that looked like a film that looked super expensive but wasn’t at all, thanks to me calling favours from friends like Mike Seymour, the effects supervisor....

Dynasty Episode 19 Review Liam’s identity and purpose are finally outted, Steven lies to his fiancé and sister so he can go track down his long-lost brother, Alexis’s machinations become even less clear, and Blake straight up blackmails his wife. Fear The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 9 I’ve often believed that genre shows are at their best when they take more introspective turns, and Fear The Walking Dead is no exception. In light of the first half of a season that killed off two main characters—and saw the fall of yet another safe haven—“People Like Us” is a fitting direction for the latter half of the season to take. What do traditional notions of identity, home, and family mean anymore in the absence of a structured society?...

Maybe Banville should have gone to that conference on copyright law after all. Contractual overrides and evidentiary considerations may be dull as all get out, but at least they’re preferable to being thrown into US air force prison. Not even her ‘cooee S015, over here!’ SIM card trick can help her get out of this one. The data roaming charges alone would cost an arm and a leg. Did Logan kill Linda?...

1.17 Social Engineering Thankfully, the amount of made-up-junk surrounding computers was kept to a reasonable minimum in what turned out to be one of the strongest stories so far. Someone connected has his dirty washing aired on TV by a hacktivist group, and then ends up dead, unexpectedly. The suspicion quickly falls on the politician, except it is pretty obvious he comes from the Gerald Ford School of Presidential hopefuls, and not the Richard Nixon one....

We’ve had some fine encapsulated stories in Fringe recently, but the bigger story arc was looking decidedly back-burner until Jacksonville put it centre stage once more. It doesn’t take Walter very long to work out what’s going on, and that, in response to this action, another building of corresponding size will be sucked from our dimension to the alternate one within a couple of days. From experiments Walter and William Bell once did, they also know that Olivia can see objects from the other dimension and identify them, with what she described as a ‘glimmer’....

If I needed a reason as to why I still watch this show, and I don’t, White Tulip launched at me some of the most wicked curveball changes in direction the like of which I don’t experience often. That’s a spoiler warning, if you’ve not seen this episode, and if not stop now and rush to watch this wonderful example of Fringe at its very best. That’s one track for this story to follow, and the other is Walter’s preoccupation with telling Peter that he’s not from this dimension, something that’s weighing heavily on him....

5.7 The Gift They say that success in life is all about who you know and who you are more than anything else. Very few people in Westeros are self-made men. Bronn was nothing but a common sellsword until he took a chance and befriended Tyrion Lannister. Now he’s a knight with a castle, doing special favours for the Queen Mother in exchange for a bigger castle and a prettier wife....

5.8 Hardhome There’s something of a tradition on Game Of Thrones that the ninth episode is the centerpiece of the season, the default finale if you will, with an episode afterwards to pick up the pieces. Ned Stark lost his head in the ninth episode. Tyrion saved King’s Landing in the Battle of Blackwater in the ninth episode. The Wildling invasion was repelled by the Night’s Watch and the forces of Stannis Barratheon in the ninth episode....
