Yiannopoulos is a leading voice of the far right variety of alt, which the Anti-Defamation League says peddles “implicit or explicit racism or white supremacy.” Yiannopoulos was permanently banned by Twitter in 2016 for harassing Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones. “He’s a provocateur. He’s been thrown off Twitter — that’s how bad he is,” Maher said on the February 3 episode of Real Time. Real Time with Bill Maher will continue its controversial programming by bringing on actress and Scientology whistleblower Leah Remini as Friday’s mid-show guest. Maher’s panel will include the former host of The Nightly Show, veteran comedy writer Larry Wilmore, Intercept Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Scahill, and former Republican congressman and President Trump supporter Jack Kingston.
