Years before, a young girl named Carrie Anne went crazy and brutally murdered her parents. Hence, the rent for all the other houses in the neighborhood is really cheap. The only resident in murder house is Ryan (Max Thieriot), who happens to be a dreamy, damaged, brooding college boy that only the love of a high school girl can cure, or so Elissa hopes. Jennifer Lawrence has a great look, but not one that leaves her feeling out of place....

His fiancée has just found out that Henry also runs hitmen. At this point, Ilsa interrupts. She’s been having Guerrero find out who the girl from last episode’s photo was and he’s come to the conclusion she was a mistress....
1.4 Kismet If, that is, you can keep up with the spiralling-outwards plot. Last week I crossed my fingers and wished that we’d already met the cast that would shepherd us through the series’ remaining episodes, as the place was becoming overcrowded with underwritten characters. This episode, to add to the existing roster, arrived a Belfastian godfather, a mysterious priest, a hunk in a wheelchair, a framed pimp, and a dead Communist....

Yet while the 2017 film pays plenty of homage to the movie that saw Williams run from digital crocodiles (who don’t hold up nearly as well as you recall), that first picture is not really what Welcome to the Jungle is about. Which is one of its greatest assets. Holding as much sly reverence for Tom Hanks’ Big as it does the first Jumanji, Jake Kasdan and Dwayne Johnson’s lighthearted and fairly disarming romp through the jungle (or at least postcard Hawaiian scenery) is the type of breezy, all-ages power fantasy that used to populate family entertainment in the ‘80s and ‘90s....
If, however, you happened to be a teenager when Jean Claude Van Damme’s star was on the rise, maybe taking up a martial art to emulate your hero, perhaps even drawing pictures of him on your text books at school, then his films were anything but throwaway. Thankfully Kickboxer: Vengeance is the nostalgic treat I’d hoped for, the cinematic equivalent of an old, warm, blood stained blanket, that you wrap yourself up in and then hope more people will want to join you under, but most likely won’t....
Knightfall Episode 5 “I do not repent.” The relationship between De Nogaret and Princess Isabella has been teased throughout the first half of the season, and while it gives the impression that she sees him as the uncle to whom she can always count on to acquiesce to her desires, his view of her appears a bit more complicated. At times, it seems as if he views her somewhat lustily, while at others as the older, wiser confidant in whom she can confide....
Firstly, said theatre is really very uncomfortable, to the point where I’m reticent about sitting in it again when Paul Merton brings his Improv Chums tour there in a couple of months. Secondly, it seems that half the audience of comedy gigs owns an iPhone (Marcus Brigstocke will be pleased). For, come the interval, it seemed in unison that half the crowd reached for one of these gadgets and contained themselves by staring at it for 20 minutes or so, before the show resumed....

Lethal Weapon Season 2 Episode 13 “He floats. He sinks…” Lethal Weapon deserves some points this week because it attempts to do something rather interesting with its cast. The episode’s victims happen to be former patients of Dr. Maureen Cahill, which is a creative way to get more use out of Jordana Brewster’s character. Brewster’s Cahill definitely felt more fundamental to the series during the first season. Obviously Riggs’ mental state is still an ongoing issue, but Cahill’s role has become increasingly ancillary....
The original game, Mario Strikers, was released during the demise of the Gamecube. A revamp and a restyle later and you have Mario Strikers Charged Football. One aspect of this game made it so exciting when it was announced – ONLINE GAMEPLAY! It’s the first game on the Wii (in Europe) to have it. This not only gives it something that no other Wii game has yet, but also sets the benchmark for all future Wii games....
4.18 No Regrets And what a tale it is. Pure HYDRA versus SHIELD action like Stan and Jack created. But unlike past seasons, this HYDRA versus SHIELD war is not overshadowed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s not like SHIELD is cleaning up for the Avengers or existing in the shadows of the bigger Marvel guns, this is pure SHIELD drama. In this week’s episode, we have a good news bad news situation for SHIELD fans....
5.10 Past Life But I kind of missed the MCU proper. Well, this week, with the help of Flint, Deke, Tess, and Enoch, SHIELD is able to open a gate back home. But it isn’t easy, and not everyone survives. Last week, we were left with the reveal that Flint and his rock control powers would be able to get the Agents of SHIELD back home. This week, Flint is able to build the monolith for SHIELD and use the gate Fitz created to open a gate through time and space....
Case in point: when a shady looking Finn with a dubious accent enters a hotel room carrying a gas mask on a platter, we don’t stop to wonder what this potential assassin may have gained by hiding it under an embossed silver dome. Later, when he attempts to spray Tony Bravo with a deadly substance delivered through an awkward aerosol spray can, we don’t pause to contemplate why a CGI fly disintegrates before our eyes while Bravo—lacking both the gas mask and the platter—comes out entirely unharmed....
5.13 The Diamond of the Day (Part 2) With the battle in full flow, Merlin drives back Morgana’s forces, whilst Mordred stalks the knights, seeking Arthur. Even with the help of Aithusa, Morgana is unable to drive home her advantage, and the sight of Emrys is enough to drive her into a rage, before Merlin renders her unconscious. With Mordred driving his blade into Arthur, and a valiant show of strength allowing Arthur to kill Mordred, the King is close to death, but removed from the battlefield by Merlin, whilst Gwen tends to the wounded and the enemy force is driven back....
