Best UK PS4 deals: What to look for in a bundle
You may think hard drive size is an important factor when purchasing a PlayStation 4, but it’s not really. Not only is it easy to upgrade the internal storage of your PS4, but it’s usually far cheaper than the price difference between consoles. If you’re adamant that you’re going to be playing your PS4 to death, pick up the 1TB model. But if you’re unsure how much time you’ll spend playing on it, don’t think about getting anything more than 500GB; you can always bump up its storage at a later date. Lastly, and almost as importantly as anything else, you need to decide which model of PlayStation you’d like. New units no longer come with a glossy plastic section above the disc drive (distinguishing launch models from newer ones). However, there’s a wide selection of limited-edition consoles tied in with big games. If you don’t fancy an Uncharted 4, Destiny or Batman: Arkham Knight-themed console, Sony also offers changeable faceplates to add a bit of style and colour to your unit.
