However, it now seems that Diesel is keen to return to the world of Xander Cage, with a third xXx movie very much on the cards (in spite of the commercial disappointment of the second). This will see Diesel’s special agent once more under the direction of Rob Cohen (who made the first xXx movie, but like his star, wasn’t around for the sequel). Cohen has just scored himself a summer hit with the third Mummy movie, and while no script is yet in place, he and Diesel have been reportedly agreed to return to the franchise. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will be a good few years away yet.
